Munich, 11 May 2017 – afb Application Services AG (afb), European full-service provider for financial and service providers, manufacturers and vendors, extended an invitation to the afb Market and Innovation Event 2017 with the tag line "Customer Experience Strategy – Next Level!" at the Sofitel Munich Bayerpost Hotel on 4 May 2017. More than 100 decision-makers and experts followed the invitation and experienced a day with new impulses, disruptive technologies and plenty of interaction.
The event linked up decision-makers and experts from finance and service providers, manufacturers and vendors. Visionary thinkers provided impulses for how we can reach the next level of customer experience in our own companies. Jörg Ziesche, authorised representative of Opel Bank GmbH, presented digital touchpoints, IT and changes with regard to automotive financing of the future. Dr. Peter Weigand, CEO of Dacuda AG and Virtual & Augmented Reality Entrepreneur, vividly illustrated current VR technologies and future development potential. Enrico Moritz, Business Development Manager at afb, and Philipp Oberleitner, Manager Account Management at afb, showed that while the issue of digitisation has already caught on in most companies, its implementation, particularly in the areas of online legitimation, early-scan-digitisation and digital signature is still in its infancy.
In the afternoon, participants were again given the opportunity to actively participate in interactive, parallel workshops as part of the "Speed Innovation Market". In small groups they had lively discussions about topics such as the intelligent combination of offline branches and online shopping, the fascination of digital banking information, innovative pay-per-use models or proven methods for innovation management. Experts from BDO Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, BMW AG, Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, FinTecSystems GmbH, Hanacek Factoring Consulting & Solutions e.K., ING-DiBa AG, STILL Financial Services GmbH and weShop.one GmbH & Co. KG were available to answer questions. Moreover, participants were given the opportunity to personally try out the latest VR technologies during the entire event.
The presentation by Michael Fichtner, CIO of FC Bayern München AG, provided the final highlight. He impressed participants with the digisation strategy that FC Bayern Munich deploys with respect to complexity management, time to market and performance.
