afb is a new association partner of the Bundesverband Factoring für den Mittelstand

Munich, 11 July 2017 – afb Application Services AG (afb), European full-service provider for financial and service providers, manufacturers and vendors, has become a new association partner of the Bundesverband Factoring für den Mittelstand (BFM).

The BFM is the central body representing the interests of medium-sized factoring in Germany. The association is committed to the needs of SMEs, especially for liquidity procurement independent of banks. The association's aim is to provide information about the financing model of factoring, to promote its use and to help create the best possible framework conditions. 29 factoring companies and 13 association partners are organised within the BMF. The affiliates provide assistance to around 8,000 SMEs in Germany.

afb supports the factoring industry in optimising and digitising business processes through full-scale business solutions and modular business services, consulting, operational and outsourcing services. The afb Factoring Management Solution covers the entire factoring process – from the offer to the financing application, including automatic decision-making and processing, through to validation and contract administration – by means of an end-to-end web-based platform solution. The service-oriented architecture bundles business services into end-to-end processes, with which every desired functional scope can be flexibly mapped. afb's consulting offer is based on two decades of experience in the optimisation of end-to-end processes in the financial sector and is characterised by the fact that its consultants do not only supply position papers, but also support in identifying, steering and specifying fields of action as well as in implementing these.
