Service Cards

Tank and service cards are becoming increasingly popular, both in professional fleet management as well as in the private sector. Financial services providers and dealers are also increasingly offering their own service programmes as an instrument for boosting customer loyalty. The Service Cards module group of afb Credit Management Solution (afb-CMS) offers comprehensive functionalities for the automated or manual processing of tank or service cards of a contract. The service card administration complements the functionalities of the Contract Management module group in the area of full-service management by the possibility of registering, ordering and blocking credit cards – also automated in response to special occurrences. A direct connection to the interface of the card issuer is possible in order to digitally forward initiated processes (e.g. blocking).

  • Registering, ordering, activating and blocking of cards via different card statuses
  • Registration of different types of cards per card issuer in order to take service codes into account
  • Direct ordering or blocking of cards via digital interfaces to the card issuer
  • Checking and processing of incoming invoices via the Invoice Management functionality

Advantages at a glance

  • Full overview: all cards are deposited directly with the corresponding contract so that a direct visualisation of the allocated cards is possible from the contract.
  • Efficient management: invoices received are processed directly with the Invoice Management module group and can be checked here for contract conformity.

 

  • High level of automation: the registration, ordering, activation and blocking of cards can be automated by special Contract Management occurrences. Control takes place via a different card status in each case. The request for, or blocking of, cards can take place directly via an interface to the respective card issuer.
  • High flexibility: a standard interface allows connection with any card provider.
