afb Credit Management Solution with two new modules

The afb Application Services AG in Munich has expanded the afb Credit Management Solution to include a management information system and a utility for centrally managing business contacts. In this way, the solution for automated credit and leasing processes offers intelligent additional options for generating new business.

Business intelligence with afb-Statistics
The module afb-Statistics offers users of the afb Credit Management Solution two- and multi-dimensional analyses of offers, applications, contracts and business partners. These serve as a basis for strategic decisions, risk management and product development. The management information system uses the integrated data warehouse for evaluations as well as the operational database for real-time analyses.
afb offers ready-made reports for the areas of marketing and sales, system use, credit decision making, billing, contract management and accounting as well as accounting and controlling. The service provider can also individually create and adapt two- and multi-dimensional queries, should this be required. afb also delivers and supports the complete infrastructure for the IBM DB2 Warehouse as part of application service provision. Other solutions, from SAS or Oracle for example, are directly supported, as are data exchange with third-party systems and credit risk reporting.


Optimise business relations with afb-Partner Management
The module afb-Partner Management provides a 360-degree view of all contacts in the credit and leasing business, such as employees, dealers, agents and end customers. Master data is entered and maintained centrally. Additionally, each contact with its own individual relationships, roles and services is embedded in a hierarchical structure, where the Financial Service Provider is at the top of the hierarchy. The solution supports a predefined or individual search facility.
 
In the area of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), afb-Partner Management offers custom-made activities for selected target groups, for example direct mailings. To this end, users can select from current contracts according to relevant criteria. All activities are tracked and tagged with a time stamp. Additionally, afb-Partner Management automatically initiates the rating of sales partners at predefined time intervals. And a further advantage: Using the module, Financial Service Providers can assign role-based user rights for system functions and data.
