afb Credit Management Solution
Future proof with SOA and Java
The afb Credit Management Solution will soon use completely service oriented software architecture. Process components such as calculation models or customer scoring will be provided as individual services which can be flexibly combined in cross-business processes.
afb only uses tried and tested standards such as Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) to orchestrate its SOA solution and link services. The SOA is technically based on the Java Platform Enterprise Edition (Java EE). This standard is supported by almost all major IT providers and the open source community. It therefore allows for modern business applications without being dependent on an individual manufacturer or a certain platform.
Another advantage of SOA: The afb Credit Management Solution can be used as a complete system or integrated into existing IT to create bridges between isolated applications. Financial Service Providers can choose from a wide range of services, including sales financing, wholesale financing, collateral management, partner and customer relation management, statistics and management information. afb safeguards existing IT investments and at the same time allows legacy systems to be replaced by modern, web-based services in small, manageable increments.
